Driving the Tata Altroz has mostly been a joy. It is stylish, drives well and the cabin feels premium with its well thoughtout layout. However the Altroz is not without its shortcomings. The petrol engine variants feel underpowered when compared to the diesel one making the drive a bit slow. And while the car is pretty well equipped I have found the fuel efficiency around 18-20 kmpl which is a little lower than what I expected. Also the rear seating could have been more comfortable offering better thigh support.

Modern and solid hatchback
City driving is very easy in this hatchback and the clutch is light and the ride quality is absorbent and relaxed. The cabin of Tata Altroz is very spacious with the enough space and the seats are spacious and comfortable also the build quality is very strong but the slow speed ride is not good. It offers many segment first features and get enough boot space and is a modern looking hatchback but it missing out some features and the petrol engine is good only for the city usage.

Altroz Positives Points: Ample space for four six-footers and their luggage gives you a big car feel, Safety. Proven 5 Star rating at Global NCAP, Choice of petrol/CNG/diesel — lets you pick the basis of your needs.
Altroz Negatives Points: Engine refinement is not particularly great. Hampers the drive experience, Infotainment experience now feels outdated.
Zigwheels Expert's Conclusion : The Altroz scores high on several counts. It has a great design, is spacious, well-built and is proven to be safe. There are no real misses in terms of features, but a richer infotainment experience will make it even better.

I have driven altroz 115000
I have driven altroz 115000 plus and counting, Although mine is the first version of the altroz which is the xzo 2020 model so during that time turbo version was unavailable.Some changes are needed with the petrol engines other things are good no major issue till now, I have driven to major routes of himachal and uttrakhand upto ladakh and it had never made me to regret one the best car with best interior and ambient lights and cool music system for the music lover you don't need the outside music system, Just a minor changes in enginer needed like its in the turbo version othewise it is the best car in the segment.

It is impressively fuel efficient saving quite a bit in terms of running costs. The safety features, such as the ABS and EBD as standard, make every ride worry free.
